I Joy Douglas have learned from this class that to have a nation of peace, I must start with my own family. The picture of the earth to me represents how every person within the world could work hand in hand for peace, respect, and understanding of others. The pictures of my children remind me that to help teach others about peace, respect, and understanding, I first must teach them.
Awesome work Joy! You made great points- much of what we've learned in this course are definitely things that need to be handed down to generations. I wish you nothing but the best as we continue on this journey trying to obtain our masters degree.

ReplyDeleteI think you have a beautiful family. You are absolutely right to point out that we should pass on good messages to the next generations. I also try to teach my children to be open minded and tolerant of others. I think if we are dedicated enough, we can make a difference in children's life.

I think it is important to teach future generations the importance of accepting people for who they are and to not judge people without getting to know them first.
