Communication

 I would like to be a communicator like my friend Mrs. Clark. She was a special ed teacher who I  co-teached with for 4 years. She was a person who could communicate with anyone. She was very honest but this honesty was not hurting . She is very compassionate about her work and took communication with all parents very serious.

    Joy - Honesty is so importnant in communication. True honesty can not be faked and the people we communicate with can feel this. its not always about how we say it but if we say it with feeling..

    Joy I can imagine that working with Mrs. Clark you learned a lot about good communication skills and having a person that is honest and passionate is someone I would model my communication skills after also.

    Joy, I need to take a few classes from your friend. Its so hard for me to be honest when the topic is something negative. I tend to beat around the bush and not always get me point across. I'm usually left feeling like the other person didn't understand me or they left upset and confused.

    What a wonderful example. It can be hard to be honest when the subject can be viewed negatively.
